  • Ayurveda is an ancient approach to wellness and healing from India that helps you to find balance in an inherently unbalanced world.

Ayurveda focuses on the body, mind and spirit as a whole. It views your physical and mental symptoms as details within the big picture of who you are, instead of as isolated occurrences.

I use the doshas to understand the characteristics of who you are and of your imbalances within a time tested framework. Essentially, doshas represent patterns in nature that can be seen in the world around us: seasons, time of day, time of life, qualities of food and activities, etc. By understanding how the doshas affect you, you can make decisions that move you towards your optimal state.

Ayurvedic “treatment” is a process of education and empowerment so that you can become your own healer. Once you’ve learned the tools, you can apply them to yourself and your family for years to come.
